Current Plans and Updates!

Hey There! I'm back with catch up on what's happened so far and the current plans! The entire design of this space capsule is going to be a 10 x 10 x 10 cube with the electronics inside of the cube. A solar panel will be attached to the capsule to charge the board inside, which is likely going to be a Raspberry Pi Zero W. Currently it is planned that there will be 5 sensors (one that will not be functioning due to there being two of the same sensor) consisting of a temperature sensor (x2), a barometric sensor, an altitude sensor, and a humidity sensor.  Of these 4 working sensors, there is a ASAIR AM2302 temperature and humidity sensor  and a  MPL3115A2 temperature, altitude, and barometric pressure sensor . These two modules will be connected to the Raspberry Pi Zero W via the GPIO pins. The Raspberry Pi Zero W will also be connected to cellular data to allow communication between ground control and the space capsule. It is planned that both sensors will be recording ...

Welcome to my blog!

Hi there! Welcome to my blog! This blog will be about my journey in trying to launch a precursor to a self designed and built cube satellite! The current designed precursor is called the Enterprise Space Capsule and the plan is to let it take off with a weather balloon. As of June 8th, the model is currently in design. The planned launch date is some time in July and the launch area has not yet been confirmed as that will be decided nearer to the launch date. I really hope you enjoy reading my journey in creating a space capsule!
